it turns out that I'm just crazy.
There are 9 more jars of apple butter and one more of pickled green beans I sent home with the ladies who canned with me and 2 more apple butters in the fridge. No one lasted the full 12 hours it took to make apple butter from more than 25 lbs of apples we picked the day before.If this is normal, I'm really scared for my nesting phase.
